On 13 January 2012 it was announced that the Autonomous Government of Galicia (Consellería de Cultura, Educación e Ordenación Universitaria) has awarded Carla Bouzada-Jabois a three-year research grant. Carla is a member of the LVTC team and is preparing a PhD thesis on the development of English absolute participles, under the supervision of Javier Pérez-Guerra.
