Paula Rodríguez-Puente receives the Faculty of Philology Extraordinary PhD Award

 

It was recently announced that Paula Rodríguez-Puente, a member of the VLCG team now based at the University of Oviedo, has received the Extraordinary PhD Award 2012-2013 from the Faculty of Philology at the University of Santiago de Compostela.

Paula’s dissertion examined, from a corpus-based perspective, the development of phrasal verbs in British English from 1650 to 1990. Her PhD advisor was María José-López Couso.
