New research project awarded to the VLCG team

It was recently announced that the project proposal submitted in July 2017 to the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness by María José López-Couso and Belén Mendez-Naya as Principal Investigators has received funding from the National Programme for Excellence in Scientific and Technical Research.

Details are as follows:
Grant no.: FFI2017-86884-P, for the period 01/01/2018 – 31/12/2020
Project title: “Constructionalization in contemporary and earlier English: Cognitive, variationist and discourse-pragmatic perspectives”
Funding awarded: 49.610 euros plus one four-year PhD research position
