At the 9th International Conference of AELINCO (Spanish Association for Corpus Linguistics) recently held at the Université Paris Diderot – Paris 7, María José López-Couso, Belén Méndez-Naya, Paloma Núñez-Pertejo and Ignacio Palacios received the 1st Research Award ‘Aquilino Sánchez’ (MODALIDAD A: Premio de investigación para investigadores/as experimentados/as) for the volume Corpus linguistics on the move: Exploring and understanding English through corpora (Language and Computers Series 79).
