At the 35th International Conference of the Spanish Association for Applied Linguistics (AESLA) recently held at the University of Jaén, María José López-Couso, Belén Méndez-Naya, Paloma Núñez-Pertejo and Ignacio Palacios received the prestigious 2017 AESLA Research Award (‘XX Premio de Investigación AESLA para investigadores experimentados’) for the volume Corpus linguistics on the move: Exploring and understanding English through corpora (Language and Computers Series 79).
