Elena Seoane is a partner in DEMLANG, an international research project funded by the Academy of Finland

Elena Seoane is a partner in the research consortium DEMLANG (‘Democratization, Mediatization and Language Practices in Britain, 1700–1950’).

DEMLANG has recently been awarded funding from the Academy of Finland (ref. 295381/295383; €560,000, for the period 2016-2020). The consortium parties are Päivi Pahta (University of Tampere) and Minna Palander-Collin (University of Helsinki), together with international partners based at the Universities of Cambridge (Laura Wright), Duisburg-Essen (Birte Böss), Lausanne (Anita Auer), Uppsala (Erik Smitterberg) and Vigo (Elena Seoane).
