18th ELC Research Seminar

 

A new ELC research seminar will be held on Tuesday 9th April 2013. The two invited speakers are Zeltia Blanco-Suárez (USC) and Begoña Soneira (USC). The topics of their presentations are, respectively:

  • “Grammaticalisation and subjectification of death-related intensifiers in the history of English”
  • “The role of loanwords in the lexical description of English for Architecture: a corpus-based study”

Venue: Faculty of Philology, USC

Room: 10, second floor
