The research teams of the ELC network VLCG, SPERTUS, PCC and LVTC have edited two collective volumes that will be published by De Gruyter (Subordination in English, diachronic and synchronic perspectives) and Bloomsbury (Crossing linguistic boundaries: Systemic, synchronic and diachronic variation in English) in tribute to Professor Teresa Fanego, leader of the English Linguistics Circle (ELC) research network. These volumes, which will be available soon this year, include contributions by Bas Aarts, Alexander Bergs, Elisabeth Bruckmaier, Bert Cornillie, Hubert Cuyckens, Kristin Davidse, Hendrik De Smet, David Denison, Raymond Hickey, Marianne Hundt, Manfred Krug, Sven Leuckert, Diana Lewis, Lucía Loureiro-Porto, Christian Mair, Rahel Oppliger, Nikolaus Ritt, Günter Rohdenburg, Juhani Rudanko, Cristina Suárez-Gómez, Gunnel Tottie, Gregory Ward and Debra Ziegeler, among others.
