Evelyn Gandón-Chapela has brilliantly defended her PhD dissertation

 

On 12th April Evelyn Gandón-Chapela, a member of the LVTC team, was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, on completion of her dissertation entitled A corpus-based analysis of post-auxiliary ellipsis in Modern English.

Evelyn’s research was supervised by Dr Javier Pérez-Guerra; the international examination board was comprised of Professor Anne Abeillé (Université Paris Diderot – Paris 7), Dr Rodrigo Pérez Lorido (University of Oviedo) and Dr Arja Nurmi (University of Tampere).
